On 24-25th of January 2024, the kick-off meeting of the European Horizon programme project “Renewable and Waste heat valorisation in Industries via Technologies for Cooling production and energy Harvesting” (RE-WITCH) took place at the premises of the Consiglio Nazionale Delle Ricerche (CNR), Messina, Italy.
The project involves 26 partners from 10 countries. In the project 4 demonstration sites are foreseen. The project aims to demonstrate energy-efficient cooling and heating solutions for industrial processes.
The meeting included a presentation of the project activities and objectives and the introduction of the project partners. Representatives of the Lithuanian Energy Institute Rolandas Urbonas, Petras Leknius and Andrius Smaguris attended the meeting.
