Representatives of the Lithuanian Energy Institute dr. E. Urbonavičius and doctoral student V. Bykov and KTU representative dr. L. Paukštaitis participated in the conference organized by the Joint Baltic-Nordic Energy Research Program, which took place on October 24-25,2022 in Riga (Latvia). Projects financed by this program and their achieved results were discussed at the conference. One of these projects in which LEI participates is the Remonet-Bioenergy (Establishment of Nordic-Baltic PhD and researcher mobility network in the field of bioenergy) project aimed at promoting the mobility of doctoral students. This project is coordinated by Kaunas University of Technology and implemented in cooperation with Chalmers University of Technology, Riga Technical University and AXIS Tech UAB. During the conference, the project goals and achieved results were presented, the progress of the project was discussed with the program coordinators.
More than 60 participants from the Nordic and Baltic countries took part in the conference.
