LEI scientists conducted IAEA training for international specialists

From May 13 to 24, 2024, scientists Dr. Arvydas Galinis and Dr. Eimantas Neniškis from the Laboratory of Energy Systems Research at LEI conducted an IAEA training workshop titled “IAEA Workshop on Advanced Energy System Modelling and the Use of the IAEA’s Analytical Tools.” The workshop was designed to train lecturers capable of instructing on the use of MESSAGE software for analyzing the prospective development of energy systems. This is the second year such courses have been held in Vilnius. The workshop was attended by 13 specialists from Cameroon, Canada, Croatia, Djibouti, Gabon, Ghana, Kuwait, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Saint Lucia, Tunisia, and Lithuania.
