On 2023-02-07 Students from Italian, Croatian, Romanian and Lithuanian (Kaunas district Domeikava Gymnasium) schools, participating in the CiELO exchange program “Research ‘Champions’ exchange”, visited Lithuanian Energy Institute.
The subject of the project is related to aspects of sustainable economic development, water and soil pollution problems. The project aims to develop students’ responsibility in using natural and man-made resources.
Presentations on hydrogen, plasma technologies, combustion processes and hydrology were presented to students at the institute. The students visited the laboratories of Plasma Technologies, Combustion Processes and the Center for Hydrogen Energy Technologies. Various multimedia technologies were also presented to the students by the head of the VDU IF Multimedia Laboratory, dr. Edgar Ščiglinskas.
