17th SET Plan Conference – Energy research and innovation as tools for a competitive Europe

The Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, together with the European Commission, organises the 17^th annual conference on the Strategic Energy and Technology Plan. The event will take place in Viladecans (Barcelona) on November the 13^th  and the 14^th. It will gather more than 300 people, attracting the most relevant stakeholders and policymakers to reflect on the latest developments of the SET Plan and on boosting energy research and innovation for a competitive Europe.

This edition will focus on energy research and innovation as tools for a competitive Europe, and how the Revamped SET Plan will contribute to this goal. Furthermore, it will address the most critical and societal energy challenges for complying with EU policies such as “Fit for 55”.
