The 5th Anatolian Conference on Organic Chemistry (ACOC5) will be held from February 03-05, 2025, for a four-day journey into the heart of organic chemistry. The conference will be chaired by Prof. David Procter from the University of Manchester, with Prof. Kevin Brown from Indiana University serving as vice-chair. In collaboration with the Turkish Chemists Society, Ataturk University, and Gebze Technical University we aim to bring you an unforgettable experience at the beautiful Pine Beach Belek Hotel in Antalya, Türkiye.

Prepare for a dynamic lineup of internationally renowned speakers who will share their latest findings on topics ranging from natural product synthesis to catalysis, organometallic chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, photocatalysis, synthetic methodology, and electrosynthesis. ACOC5 promises to be a hub of cutting-edge discussions and innovative ideas in modern organic chemistry.

Yet, we’ve also ensured there’s ample opportunity for more than just academic discussions! Antalya, accessible by air from numerous European cities, is a treasure trove of history and beauty. Explore the ancient cities of Patara, Myra, Phaselis, Olympos, Termessos, Perge, Aspendos, and Side. Don’t miss the chance to visit Xanthos, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Join us for an inspiring conference filled with brilliant chemistry and vibrant interdisciplinary conversations.

We hope that you may consider members of your group attending. The conference features significantly reduced pricing for students to enable attendance. The conference committee provides invitation letters to those who are interested in applying for travel grants or other sources of funding to fund their trip. Should this be required, please reach out to us and we will be more than happy to send an invitation letter.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Antalya for ACOC5!
